Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brockville by IHG

We stayed at this hotel one night that we were driving to Ottawa and there was a snow storm. Their location besides de 401 is ideal for those like me that would like to rest before continuing the drive. Rooms were cozy and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was better than what we expected. The staff was so friendly and helpful, Janette in particular. I will definitely consider coming back.

We were looking for a place to stay just off the highway and with a pool for the kids. The pool area looked to be newly renovated and the kids had the whole thing to themselves. We had a nice big room that was fairly clean. There was a leak on the floor from the fridge that didn’t appear to be working properly and no one seemed to be too eager to look at it. No big deal. We enjoyed the early morning continental breakfast. There was lots of variety and the food was warm. Thane prepared all the food and was present in the dining room. He was very welcoming and kept everything clean and tidy.

I highly recommend this hotel if you a planning to stay in Brockville! The people working here are spectacular. From the moment you arrive you feel welcome and they want you to have a wonderful experience during you stay. A special shout out to Thane, Trish and Stella who work in the breakfast dining area. The service they provide is second to none. From they moment they greeted us they made us feel like family. They take great pride in their work; ensuring the area is clean, food is hot and readily available and you are happy with your meal.

The complimentary breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express Brockville is top-tier, but it’s the staff that truly makes the experience. Stella and Trish provide outstanding service that goes far beyond the typical hotel experience. They are incredibly attentive, keeping the area spotless and the food fresh even during the morning rush. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel like welcome guests rather than just another room number. With great hot options and even better service, it’s the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended!

After a very scary drive in a snow storm I was so glad to arrive. The front desk was so welcoming and check in was quick. My room was on the backside overlooking the 401 so the noise of the trucks wasn't the greatest. But the blackout roller shade was great. I just played a sleep track on my phone and I was fine. The next morning I was greeted with a smorgasbord for breakfast, and lovely hosting and cooking by Stella and Trish. Bacon, eggs and sausage, juices, teas and coffees, fresh fruit, toast and muffins, and cinnamon buns! There were also cereals, hash browns , jams, and hot sauce. The room is clean, with a great selection of pillows, USB ports everywhere, and the mattress was well padded and supportive. Everything has been clearly well thought out in its placement.

We are very grateful to all of the staff we encountered on our recent visit. After having our car breakdown on our way home to Barrie, we ended up having to stay overnight while our car was serviced. Having arrived at the hotel via a tow truck, the lovely woman at the desk promptly checked us in and even gave us a room upgrade. The next day, our car was still not ready and we were kindly given a later checkout. By early afternoon, we were still without a vehicle. Their staff were understanding and allowed for us to spend the entire afternoon in the breakfast area where we were comfortable and able to work, and watch TV with our son. She even gave us the TV remote. It’s little things like that, that go a long way. Thanks very much.

I have stayed here a few times over the years and am never disappointment with the cleanliness or staff assistance, this time I am travelling with my cat and had no issues. Breakfast this morning was delicious with a bonus of turkey sausage. Thane in the breakfast room was a pleasant fellow and I enjoyed our quick chat, he kept everything tidy and organized.
